Tour de France Homepage Architecture Rebuild

Rebuild homepage architecture in 14 days for company's largest revenue event, delivering 4 responsive variants that drove record engagement during Tour de France sponsorship

Project Overview

  • Challenge: Last-minute full redesign needed for launch
  • Timeline: 14 days from wireframes to live launch
  • Scope: 4 homepage variants, full responsive implementation
  • Role: Lead technical designer, CMS implementation specialist

Outcome: Successful launch, executive satisfaction, seamless user experience

Original homepage vs. redesigned architecture - 4 responsive variants delivered in 14 days

Challenge: With just two weeks to launch, I needed to transform complex UX wireframes into a scalable, maintainable homepage system that could handle high traffic during our biggest revenue event.

Process: I developed a systematic approach: analyzing the wireframes for reusable patterns, building a component library in Contentful, and creating templates that enabled rapid deployment across four homepage variants.

Solution: Rather than build four separate pages, I created a flexible component system that allowed for efficient content management and consistent user experience across all variants.

Impact: The systematic approach enabled on-time delivery despite the compressed timeline, and the modular system continues to support rapid content updates for ongoing campaigns.

Digital Asset Management System Transformation

Transformed chaotic 90,000-asset library into streamlined 50,000-asset system with custom search protocols, reducing asset retrieval time by 75% and enabling direct vendor integration.

Project Overview

  • Challenge: Inefficient legacy DAM system hindering workflow
  • Scope: 90,000 assets evaluated, 50,000 migrated and organized
  • Timeline: 4 months
  • Role: Lead designer and project manager

Outcome: Streamlined workflow, vendor integration, improved team efficiency

Legacy Lingo system with no custom search protocols, 90k+ assets, and impossible load time

Challenge: Our design team was losing hours daily searching for assets in an unorganized 90,000-file system. Vendors had no direct way to submit assets, creating bottlenecks in our creative process.

Process: I approached this as a UX problem: understanding user needs, mapping current pain points, and designing a systematic solution. I evaluated every asset for relevance, created custom tagging protocols, and built intuitive search hierarchies.

Solution: I designed a custom interface with strategic tagging, implemented smart search protocols, and created direct vendor integration links that automated the intake process.

Impact: The new system reduced asset retrieval time from minutes to seconds, eliminated vendor bottlenecks, and created a scalable foundation for future growth.

New DAM platform with custom tagging and search architecture reducing asset retrieval time by 75%, manual requests to automated vendor integration, and streamlined and culled 50,000-asset system

Email Template System Architecture

Modular email component system built in BeePro enabling consistent brand experience across campaigns

  • Platform: BeePro (Beefree.io)
  • Challenge: Need for scalable, consistent email marketing templates
  • Solution: Component-based template library with reusable modules

Impact: Reduced email production time, improved brand consistency

I developed a systematic approach to email design by creating a library of reusable components that maintain brand consistency while enabling rapid campaign deployment. This modular system allows for efficient customization across different campaign types while ensuring technical compatibility across email clients.
